STATEMENT
“As an expressionist artist, my work revolves around the complexities of the human experience through the lens of womanhood. Each piece is a response to the emotional landscapes of pain, fear, love, and solitude, where the female form becomes a vessel for universal emotions. Through these works, I seek to explore the often unspoken struggles of the human spirit, while emphasizing the profound strength and vulnerability inherent in all individuals.
In this my latest solo exhibition, the exploration of isolation, reflection, and emotional depth takes center stage. I paint with an urgency that captures both the chaos and the stillness within, allowing the viewer to step into the private realms of the figures I create.
“NOOK” is not merely a physical space but a psychological one, a sanctuary of contemplation and emotional confrontation.
Through color, texture, and form, I attempt to evoke the complexity of being – the quiet moments of self-doubt, the sharp pangs of longing, and the quiet strength that emerges in moments of solitude. The work invites the viewer to find themselves within the confines of these emotional states and to confront the beauty and difficulty of existence, particularly through the lens of feminine experience.”
