The elegance and attitude of the Gatsby era is portrayed here, through the subtle expression of this confident woman, through her golden clothes, her glamorous hair and her mesmerizing eyes. But deep inside those shimmering eyes lies an unhappy soul, burdened by the material things that mask her true feelings.

Even before we were obliged to wear the masks that have become a part of our daily existence, we used to wear other masks, simple to belong, and to fit into societal ideology. My 2022 wish is to remove all masks and be true to oneself.

Two generations of Mothers and Daughters joyfully strolling together in the same direction, wearing similar attire, all in harmonious unison. They can’t wait to reach their anticipated destination, the Flamenco Festival. This moment is a moment shared with joy, friendship, love, excitement for dance, and beauty.
This painting represents a glimpse of happiness, where otherwise loneliness would overrule. It’s just moments like these that we have to catch, and exploit to the maximum. Moments that reside in the simplest of things.
STATEMENT
➢ My paintings are a reflection of my life as a mother, as a woman, and as an ARTIST.
➢ The shadow, though fleeting, is proof of light. Our stories, our creations, our emotions, these become the echoes we leave behind.
➢ Shadows may be fleeting, but they carry weight, they hold memories, stories, emotions, wisdom and presence.
➢ It comes natural to me; this feeling that my emotions are escaping my heart. I then capture them on my brush, as I transform a blank canvas into images of my imagination.
➢ It’s the Immortality of the soul and the stories that linger far beyond our physical presence.
➢ Each painting I present here is a testament to this Immortality, a fusion of my life, my personal stories, my eternal emotions.
➢ Every time I transform my white canvas into a painting from my imagination, I tell a story; my story; and the canvas flourishes to life.
➢ I paint moments of joy, passion, fear, loneliness, sadness, love, togetherness, contentment.. I capture these moments with my brushes and colours, I then frame them on my canvas and embed them forever in my heart.
➢ I hope that, through art, these pieces will achieve a form of immortality, resonating with others and living on as a timeless connection to the human experience.
