STATEMENT
Art has always been a part of my life; as a child, I loved looking at colorful reproductions in books, and eventually, I taught myself to draw. It was much the same with watercolor—one day I decided to paint and began teaching myself. Later, I took part in art classes, plein-air sessions, and exhibitions. Now, I also share my passion with others and teach them how to take their first steps in watercolor painting.
I enjoy observing nature and marveling at the changes taking place within it. I collect memories.
“Memories from the river trip” are about one beautiful sunny day. While kayaking, I was captivated by the light playing on the waters of the Narew river basin and decided to capture that moment of radiance. I think that is precisely what is most beautiful about watercolor—the ability to quickly capture something fleeting, like a moment or a dream.
“Make a wish” is about a dream in which I saw a shooting star in the mountains. So I decided to paint it.
