1.- What inspires your creativity and personal style?
The overall theme that I work with, in painting and writing, is questions about existence and that issue has followed me from childhood. One can not say that these thoughts decrease as we get older, on the contrary! With all the experiences, high and low, good and bad at least my way of digesting and understanding it all is to bring it into art and poems. The beauty of nature (including the human body and mind) catches my attention. Trying to comprehend life and wanting to give a voice to what is not otherwise said, is a clear thread in my artistry. Love in all its variations (altruism, mother/child, lovers, to nature..)- that’s my special interest.

2.-Tell us about your motivations in your artistic work.
I strive to highlight the underlying soul, mind or shine that often is kept hidden inside a person, a rock or the atmosphere in the room. My personal goal is to paint in a way that the surface of the canvas disappears. Without the tool of showing perspective. Merely the deeper emotion in the artwork.

In January I visited Spain, a small town called Nerja and different impressions from there are now taking form on my canvases. I work both figurative and abstract and try to catch the very soul of the place. To switch from the dark and cold being in my home town to the patterns, colours and light in Nerja was truly invigorating!
