STATEMENT
My work is inspired by all kinds of images I find fascinating or somehow touching me: old photographs, strange objects, design objects, nature images,…. Beauty in all its various forms, with a love for vintage and retro.
Through painting I create colorful work in which I can explore my passion for color, texture and pattern. My signature style often exudes nostalgia and sentiment. In doing so, I do not shy away from a dose of kitsch or a touch of humor. I also like to leave enough room for the viewer’s vision. I’d like to take you on a visual journey.
